How to Learn Mathematics

 

          Mathematics is the one of knowledge that are very important in our daily life. Many 

people said that learning mathematic is so difficult. Many ways have done to make mathematics instruction easily.  I would certainly agree that learning by doing is the best way to learn mathematics. Students apply what they have learned directly. It makes the knowledge that they have learned stored at long-term memory. Those are the expectation from many teachers to create meaningful learning. Worked-out example is one of instruction method learning by doing. Worked-out examples guide the students who lack prior knowledge of the new information about mathematics because it provides the procedure how to solve the mathematical problem. In other words, the beginners can solve the problem like the expert. And with those method many students are happy and satisfied when learning math.

            The other way to learn mathematics is by give a big attention to the teacher’s explanation. From my point of view, teacher is a central person to get new knowledge. Teacher also has several best methods of teaching to explain mathematics well. Teacher also guide the students how to learn mathematics more easy.

Study group also give a contribution to learn mathematics well. The strength of friends make comfortable place to study anything. Study group create discussions when learn mathematics is going on. There is activity to exchange their own information on their discussion. Every student do correction each other. So, it is also create a meaningful to learn math.

Beside three kinds of ways to learn math, I am convinced that learning through books also good way to learn math. In my opinion, books are the best sources to get all knowledge. Event it is needed much time to understanding new information like mathematics, but we can understanding math clearly. There are many references to compare the best way when study mathematics.

The last explanation about how to learn math is learning through internet. There is a lot of information from internet to learn math. But, we must clever to choose which one a good sources and bad sources. There is also innovation of instruction media to learn mathematics that help student when studying.

          To sum up, although there are many ways to learn math, all of ways are good. And from the explanation above, learning by doing is the best way to learn math, because it can make a common people to be an extraordinary people.
